The Vibe Bert’s Bench outside Niwot Market, dressed in roses and white hydrangeas for the Niwot Flower Fest, with petals laid in rows across his carved sayings. Digital Luminism turns the photograph into a luminous watercolor, with clear washes in the timber and stone and soft, glowing flowers, and Bert’s own words are set back into the stones by hand.

"It didn’t feel like a festival display; it felt like a memorial, almost a rededication." — The Curator’s Perspective

Medium: Digital Luminism Watercolor

Art Directions: Inspired by John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) and Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919): the AI was directed toward Sargent’s crisp structure, transparent washes and violet-gray shadows and Renoir’s soft, glowing hydrangeas, feathery greenery and warm light through the leaves. The painters’ names are disclosed as directions given to the AI, not as a claim that the work accurately portrays their style.
